About Brandoozle

Every day at midnight US Eastern there is one new puzzle, the same for everybody: a heavily zoomed crop of a company logo. You have 6 guesses to name the brand. Each wrong guess zooms out a little and reveals a sourced fact about the company, so the puzzle gets easier as it goes — and scores less.

It is a daily game in the spirit of Wordle: one puzzle, a streak to keep, and a result you can share as a row of squares without giving the answer away. The difference is what you are recognizing. Nobody has to learn a brand’s logo; the question is how little of it you need to see.

How to play has the full rules and scoring.

Brandoozle is free to play and runs in any web browser, on a phone or a computer. There is nothing to download, and you can play without an account. A free account keeps your streak across devices and puts your results on the leaderboards.

The leaderboard ranks everyone who played today. Groups are shared boards for an office, a family or a group chat, and friends compare results one to one.

Once a day is over, its answer is public. The archive has every past puzzle with its six facts and their sources, and how players did — how many solved it, and at which stage. Each brand that has appeared has its own page collecting the same.

Facts are paraphrased from the company’s own pages and other published sources, each linked. Brandoozle is not affiliated with the brands it features, and a brand appearing is not an endorsement either way.

When does the puzzle change?

A new puzzle goes live every day at midnight US Eastern time. Everyone gets the same one.

How many guesses do I get?

6. Each wrong guess reveals more of the logo and one fact about the company. Solving in fewer guesses, and faster, scores higher.

Can I see past answers?

Yes. The archive lists every past puzzle with its answer, its facts and their sources, and how players did. Today's answer is never shown until the day is over.

Is Brandoozle like Wordle?

It shares the daily format: one puzzle a day for everyone, a streak, and a shareable result that gives nothing away. Instead of guessing a word, you name a brand from a small piece of its logo.
